Microsoft is going to add some new social networking features because of its new partnership with Facebook , Linkedin and Myspace. Last year in November Microsoft rolled out "Outlook Social Connector" a new Office 2010 feature that hooks up social feeds into the Outlook inbox. Likedin was the only associated site , whose business connections, alerts, and messages would integrate directly with Outlook.


Sometime in the next few months, users will be able to check up on their MySpace friends, update their Facebook status, and browse through photos. Its not clear what we will be able to do actually. I think Microsoft is doing this to create competition for Google Buzz.
